Lost Crane
3 colour Riso print
Edition of 40
Printed on Munken Polar 270gsm.
A3 (297x420mm)
The first Lost prints I’ve done since I started the series 16 years ago.
Lost Crane was first created in 2019 in response to the the over development of Dublin city and the destruction of cultural spaces to make way for hotel after hotel. If all we’re left with is hotels then there won’t be anything for tourist to see, or homes for people to live in the city.
The Lost series started in 2004 to find all manner of lost things using stickers and posters on the street. The posters and stickers search for forgotten and lost objects jolting pedestrians out of their daily routine. Anyone finding them can get in touch, and this part of the process creates a dialogue with the public. After 15 years of Lost poster people are still sending helpful and curious mails letting me know what they've found.
